Research is conducted into gambling and problem gambling in order to better inform the development and implementation of responsible gambling and related policy. The research reports are available here.
The NSW Government also contributes funding to Gambling Research Australia (GRA)

The survey provides data about the gambling activities of NSW residents and provides a measure of problem gambling using the Canadian Problem Gambling Index (CPGI).
