my name is belle I am a compulsive gambler even though I have not gambled for 3 months I have had this sickness for a long time I have lost I would say at least $70,000 over the years I hit rock bottom that is why I have given up the pokies I nearly declared myself bankrupt and I am so disgusted with what bought me to this point I decided I have had enough of the machines just to be able to afford to treat myself to a coffee and have some money to do so feels so good and to realise I have $20.00 in my purse I forgot about,not to think about getting from one payday to the next worrying about not having enough money to see me through I feel so free now I really believe no gambler is beyond help you can give up and have peace of mind and enjoy life after all we only have one life to live and gambling is not living
