Robbie's story

Dear fellow addicts I just want to say that my story seems to match a lot of other peoples stories. I got nothing left, no family and so far in debt that I feel the colour has faded from my life. So what do we all do! You know we can all fight this together by boycotting clubs, pubs, TAB's and casino's. It is our money 'THE COMPULSIVE GAMBLERS MONEY' that are keeping these venues alive, it is not the 'CASUAL GAMBLER' that lines the pockets of the owners or CEO's. I would love to form a "COMPULSIVE GAMBLERS" CO-OP or Savings System, where we can put a majority of our wages together. We can get a professional accountant and/or bank to manage the account and when we desperately need money because we have had a 'SLIP UP' or for any other genuine reason, we can access the money we need, by having 2 other people sign off. Why not, what have we got to lose. Why can't we trust eachother. I earn $5200 a month and sometimes it is all gone in a few hours. I am being absolutely genuine and want to give a part of my heart to strangers that have gone through and are still going through the same situation as I am. I want to stop the bleeding, I'm tired of feeling desperate and lying all the time. I dont want to sound like a dreamer, but can you imagine if 5-10 of us start to do this. Can you imagine if we have $10,000 to $20,000 after a couple of months. I think we might see some hope. Hey and if you are thinking, oh I cant trust this idea, think of how shit you feel, how much lying you have to and that terrible feeling you get we you have 30cents in your pocket and you dont get paid for another month.
